If you raise heirloom pig breeds such as Berkshire pigs, Tamworth pigs, Hampshire pigs, or Hereford pigs for competition, look for a finishing show feed once your piglet reaches 100 lb. Finishing feeds support muscle development in heirloom breeds and modern show pigs with their unique formulation which contains high levels of energy and moderate amounts of protein. For additional supplementation, consider top dressing your pig’s daily rations with Purina High Octane Power Fuel for increased energy and to support the immune system during times of stress (such as trailering to the fair).
