The size of the crate or carrier that you choose for your dog largely depends on the dog's size. The crate should be big enough for your dog to comfortably stand, lie down, and turn around; a crate or carrier that is significantly larger will not offer the same sense of security for your dog.

Many of the carriers that we stock in-store and online are airline compliant as well. Some carriers are appropriate for carrying your pet onto the plane with you. Whether your dog will be riding in the cargo hold or in the cabin, make sure that you refer to the airline's individual standards to ensure that your carrier will be acceptable for air travel.
